It isn’t the easiest place to find a girlfriend, but Vietnamese women are near the top of the list when it comes to beauty both inside-and-out. And due to Vietnamese women’s reservedness, the best place to meet them is through online dating platforms.
The best dating apps to meet Vietnamese women are Bumble, Badoo, Tinder, and VietnamCupid. Other apps like Tagged, Paktor, and Skout are gaining popularity in Vietnam. Also, don’t neglect Facebook and Instagram for meeting beautiful Vietnamese women, as they have the most users but it requires more of a numbers game strategy.

It is considered a free app, however they will encourage you to purchase upgrades by limiting features from you.
Badoo’s appeal lies in its ability to facilitate chatting, matching, and arranging meetups seamlessly, utilizing your location to connect you with nearby singles. Just look at the “nearby” section and it will show you single Vietnamese women that are located near you. This immediacy makes it an attractive option for those looking to meet someone without the lengthy wait.
#1 – Bumble – Empowering Women in Dating
I had several expat friends tell me that they prefer Bumble over any other dating platforms in Vietnam. They mainly stated that the women were quality, beautiful, and seeking long-term relationships. I joined Bumble and received quite a few matches with beautiful Vietnamese women as well. Bumble is free to use, but upgrading will allow you to change locations and browse women in different locations all around Vietnam and the entire world.
Gaining slow yet steady traction, Bumble brings a female-first approach to the dating scene in Vietnam. Women are required to take the initiative to start conversations. I’ve found that this significantly reduces the amount of flaking when compared to Tinder.
Using Facebook and Instagram For Dating In Vietnam
Whether it be in Vietnam or anywhere in the world, don’t neglect using Facebook and Instagram for dating purposes. Some people even say that Instagram has become the largest dating app in world.
Here are three ways that I use social media for dating purposes:
- Asking women for their Instagram instead of their phone number after approaching or meeting a Vietnamese woman that I am interested in. Most young women nowadays have Instagram or Facebook accounts. They generally feel safer sharing their social media accounts than they do their personal phone number.
- Using Instagram or Facebook to transition off of a dating website. This will help you eliminate catfish and obtain a view into a woman’s lifestyle to see if she is a good fit. For example, I don’t drink alcohol and don’t like to date party animals. If a woman has a ton of content of her out partying, I can see it on her social media.
- Browsing locations from the Instagram search. I like to use Instagram to browse popular places in the particular city that I am in and see who has tagged themselves in that place. You’ll be surprised of how many beautiful women that you can discover in this method. After that, you just need to follow them and send a nice message. Please understand that this is a cold call method and is a pure numbers game. The reality is that most will not respond but I have met some beautiful women using this method in the Philippines and Colombia.
